(Sharecast News) - Intellectual property commercialisation specialist Frontier IP Group announced on Wednesday that its portfolio company, The Vaccine Group (TVG), had appointed an advisory board to facilitate the expansion of its herpesvirus-based vaccine platform.

The AIM-traded firm said the newly formed advisory board comprised three veterinary experts with substantial business acumen and extensive connections within the animal health industry.

"I am delighted TVG has been able to form an advisory group of such good quality," said Frontier IP chief executive officer Neil Crabb.

"It is a testament to the potential of the company, its vaccine platform and pipeline, and I look forward to further developments as TVG's vaccines move towards scale up and full commercialisation."

At 1208 GMT, shares in Frontier IP Group were down 1.19% at 38.04p.
