Former Visa exec joins Vipera board

(ShareCast News) - Jeremy Nicholds has joined the board of mobile financial services provider Vipera as a non-executive director.Nicholds, a marketing and commercial director in the global payments field, has worked for companies such as Visa, MasterCard, NatWest Bank and Reuters in the past.Most recently, he was executive director of Mobile at Visa Europe, where he worked on new mobile 'pay propositions' such as Apple Pay and Android Pay.Prior to that, he was senior vice president of sales and marketing at MasterCard Europe.The company said Nicholds will proactively assist the company with strategic partnerships, sales and marketing matters."He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience of the global mobile financial services business and we look forward to working with him and building on our success," said chief executive Marco Casartelli.
