Standard Chartered has appointed former South Korean Prime Minister Han Seung-Soo as a non-executive director in a shake-up of the Asia-focused bank's board.It also appointed Richard Delbridge, former finance director of bank HSBC, and Simon Lowth, chief financial officer of drug group AstraZeneca, as non-executive directors.Jaspal Bindra, chief executive for Asia, is appointed as group executive director, with Gareth Bullock retiring from the role.'We are adding significant financial and banking experience to the Board as well as increasing its diversity to include members with special insight from our key Asian markets,' said Standard Chartered chairman John Peace.
