The move adds to Flybe's existing codeshare partnerships with Aer Lingus, Air France, British Airways, Etihad, Finnair and KLM along with 17 interline partners that includes Emirates, Virgin Atlantic, Delta, Air Portugal and Qatar Airways. Established in 1946, Cathay serves more than 90 destinations in some 35 countries across Asia, Europe, North America, the Middle East and Africa. Paul Simmons, Flybe's Chief Commercial Officer, said: "We are now giving customers in the UK regions access to Hong Kong through Manchester Airport and relieving them of the need to undertake long road or rail journeys to the UK's congested south east hub airports."
