Fletcher King Reports Significantly Increased FY10 Profit

LONDON (Dow Jones)--Fletcher King PLC (FLK.LN) reported Thursday significantly increased pretax profit for fiscal 2010 and said that the coming year is likely to be challenging MAIN FACTS: -Revenue for the year ended April 30 GBP2.8 million (2009: GBP3.1 million) -Pretax profit GBP406,000 (2009: GBP1,000) -Pretax profit before exceptional items and impairments GBP288,000 (2009: GBP414,000) -Diluted EPS 2.63 pence (2009: loss 4.69 pence) -Cash and cash equivalents GBP2 million (2009: GBP2.1 million) -No final dividend is proposed -In the coming year, company expects to be buying properties -Shares on Wednesday closed at 22 pence, valuing the company at GBP2 million. -By Tapan Panchal, Dow Jones Newswires.
