The Group Finance Director of Croda International is set to step down from the role in April next year, the FTSE 250 group announced on Wednesday.The lengthy notice period has been agreed to enable the company to find a replacement and carry out a smooth transition. Chairman Martin Flower said: "Sean has played a pivotal role at Croda for the past eight years during a strong period of growth for the company. In particular, he helped to oversee the transformational acquisition and subsequent integration of Uniqema in 2006. "He has also introduced new levels of financial and reporting rigour and driven operational excellence across the business. We are very grateful for his insight, wise counsel and hard work through such a critical period of development for Croda and wish Sean all the very best for the future."The share price fell 0.37% to 2,400p by 08:18.
