(Sharecast News) - Everyman Media Group announced a strengthening of its leadership team on Friday, with the appointment of a new chief financial officer and an interim creative director, as the AIM-traded cinema operator continued to refresh its senior management.

The company said Sheree Manning was appointed as chief financial officer and was expected to join the business on 9 February, with her appointment to the board taking effect from 24 February.

Manning was joining from National World, where she had spent five years and served as chief financial officer since 2023.

Everyman said Manning was bringing more than 20 years' experience in senior finance and leadership roles, having previously led finance functions within media content businesses with responsibility for reporting, operational structures and mergers and acquisitions.

Earlier in her career, she held roles at RBS Group, IMG Media and J Sainsbury.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of South Australia and qualified as a chartered accountant in Australia with Ernst & Young in 2003.

Outgoing finance director Will Worsdell would remain a director of the group until 13 March to support a smooth transition.

The group also announced that Charles Dorfman, a non-executive director, would assume the role of interim creative director and take on executive responsibilities.

Dorfman had served on Everyman's board for 17 years and is a producer-director with wider media interests spanning film, television and publishing.

"I am pleased to welcome Sheree to Everyman," said interim chief executive Farah Golant.

"She has extensive financial, commercial and public markets experience, and I am confident that she will contribute strongly to the growth of the business.

"I am also pleased to be welcoming Charles to the executive team on an interim basis.

"I am confident that his broad cross-media experience and strong creative vision will further strengthen the group's offering."

At 1049 GMT, shares in Everyman Media Group were down 0.8% at 27.28p.
