The Ebola virus has killed 728 people so far in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, in the worst-ever outbreak of the virus.Two American missionary doctors have contracted the virus in Liberia. According to CNN, an experimental drug was sent to the country in order to try and save their lives. The drug had never been tried in humans before, but had positive results in monkeys.Meanwhile, one of the doctors has been transferred to a special unit in Atlanta, Georgia.The US is planning to send more than 50 public health experts to the country. At the airport of Gatwick, London, a woman died on Saturday shortly after feeling ill on a Gambia Bird flight from Sierra Leone, West Africa, spreading fears amongst passengers and staff that it might be a case of Ebola. The laboratory test results came back negative today. The episode sparked fears at other airports, especially those with connections to west Africa. Shares in International Airlines Group, which owns British Airways, were down 1.91% to 6.46p at 15:00 on Monday.JF
