EasyJet carries more passengers in November

Budget airline easyJet carried more passengers in November, up 3.4 per cent on the same month a year ago.The Luton-based carrier said 4,255,978 people flew with it in November, up from the 4,116,576 people it carried in the same month a year ago.But the rise was lower than the 5.4% year-on-year monthly rise it recorded in October, when passenger numbers increased to 5,530,091.Passengers in the year to November rose 3.7% to 61,182,101 from 59,000,358 a year ago.But the load factor for November - how full its aircraft were - dropped 0.6 percentage points to 89% from 89.6% a year ago.PW
