No-frills airline Easyjet has found a replacement for former finance director Jeff Carr after almost eight months of searching.Chris Kennedy will take over as Group Finance Director in the Summer. He joins from EMI Music where he was Chief Financial Officer.Mark Adams, interim chief financial officer since Carr resigned last May, will continue with the company to ensure a smooth transition. "On behalf of the board, I am delighted to welcome Chris to EasyJet. He brings a strong combination of financial, business and leadership capabilities and I look forward to working with Chris and the rest of the management team to continue to develop the business," chairman Sir Michael Rake commented. Easyjet has been rocked by a string of management departures over the past year following a pubic row with founder and major shareholder Stelios Haji-Iannou over plans to expand the airline.The company is currently looking for a chief executive to replace Andy Harrison who will stand down in June."We were very keen to recruit a finance director who had the experience and personal drive to help us deliver our 15% ROE target," Harrison said.
