Directors dealings: Howden Joinery boss picks up shares

(ShareCast News) - The chief of Howden Joinery, Mark Robson, and his wife bought into the company´s battered shares on 13 December, the company said in a statement.Stock in the UK´s largest manufacturer and supplier of fitted kitchens and appliances was still trading close to its post-Brexit lows, with the 52-week low coming in at 341.1p.On 5 December, analysts at Jefferies weighed in, telling clients: "There's no getting away from the fact that the outlook for the sector is challenged. Housing transactions in the existing homes market are likely to remain subdued, and consumer wallets will be squeezed as inflation bites."However, this has been reflected in valuations, and we would not be outright sellers of the sector.
