Director dealings: WPP CFO covers tax bill, Prudential board members invest

(Sharecast News) - WPP was on the list of director sells on Tuesday, after its chief financial officer covered their statutory liabilities.
The advertising agency conglomerate said Joanne Wilson acquired 7,950 shares at nil cost under its 2018 stock plan.
Wilson then sold 3,744 shares to cover statutory withholding liabilities, at 893.80p apiece, valuing the transaction at £33,463.87.
On the buying side of things were two transactions of shares in Prudential, in both sterling and Hong Kong dollars.
The company said non-executive director Arijit Basu bought 1,361 shares on 15 May, in a transaction on the London Stock Exchange.
Basu paid 1,166.5p for each share, valuing the purchase at £15,876.07.
In a separate disclosure, Prudential said its chief executive officer Anil Wadhwani purchased 9,400 shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 12 May.
The CEO paid HKD 115.6198 for each share, giving the purchase a value of HKD 1,086,826.12, or around £0.11m.
At 1549 BST, shares in Prudential were down 2.31% at 1,144p, while those in WPP were 0.94% weaker at 885p.
