Director dealings: Telecom Plus chairman raises stake

(Sharecast News) - Telecom Plus revealed on Tuesday that chairman Charles Wigoder had acquired 200,000 ordinary shares in the FTSE 250-listed utilities supplier.

Wigoder, who joined the company in 1998, purchased the shares on Monday at an average price of £17.70 each, for a total value of £3.54m.

Following the transaction, Wigoder holds a beneficial interest in 8.63m ordinary Telecom Plus shares, representing approximately 10.87% of the total voting rights in the company.

As of 1600 GMT, Telecom Plus shares were up 2.02% at 1,820.01p.
