Director dealings: Smart Metering Systems CEO ups stake

(Sharecast News) - Smart Metering Systems revealed on Friday that chief executive Alan Foy had acquired 83,333 ordinary shares in the AIM-listed energy services firm.
Foy, who took over as CEO in 2007, purchased the shares on Thursday via his interest in Metis Investments at an average price of 604.80p, for a total value of ?503,996.82.

Back in January, SMS updated the market on its trading, reporting that its financial performance in 2019 was in line with current market expectations.

As of 1630 BST, SMS shares were up 7.25% at 636p.
