Director dealings: Howden Joinery directors nail colours to mast

(ShareCast News) - Howden Joinery chairman Richard Pennycook forked out £0.25m on shares in the FTSE 250 kitchens and joinery products supplier, as a solid trading update late last month left the shares largely unmoved.Pennycook, who bought 51,663 shares at price of 483.9p apiece to substantially increase his holding to 54,663 shares, was joined by fellow non-executive Andrew Cripps.Cripps, who is chairman of the audit committee, spent slightly over £14,500 buying 3,000 shares at price of 483.7p in his first purchase of shares in the company.This director dealing followed the report on 28 April from the retailer that it had enjoyed an 8.7% jump in revenue in the 16 weeks to 16 April.
