Director dealings: Franchise Brands co-founder snaps up shares

(Sharecast News) - Franchise Brands revealed on Thursday that executive chairman Stephen Hemsley had acquired 72,500 ordinary shares in the AIM-listed franchise operator.

Hemsley, who co-founded Franchise Brands in 2008, purchased the shares on Wednesday at an average price of 116.14p each, for a total value of £84,199.98.

Following the transaction, Hemsley holds a beneficial interest in 22.97m ordinary Franchise Brands shares, representing 11.85% of the company's issued share capital.

As of 1525 GMT, Franchise Brands shares were down 0.84% at 117.50p.
