(Sharecast News) - Currys was again on the list of director buys on Friday, after the chair of its board purchased almost 0.2m shares.
The retailer said Ian Dyson picked up 150,000 shares in a single transaction in London on 6 July.
Dyson paid 47.56p for each share, valuing the investment at £71,340.
On the selling side of the ledger was Marks & Spencer, after a number of its directors sold shares to cover tax liabilities after the award of performance plan shares.
Its chief executive officer S Machan sold 220,095 shares, and co-chief executive officer K Bickerville offloaded 176,076 shares.
Managing director of clothing and home, R Price, sold 194,699 shares, and operations director S Berendji sold 145,601 shares.
All of the sales took place on 6 July, at a price of 190.18p for each share.
At the close on Friday, shares in Currys were up 2.36% at 49.42p, while those in Marks & Spencer Group were 3.04% firmer at 191.5p.
