Director dealings: Conygar directors pick up shares as it completes property sale

(Sharecast News) - A number of Conygar Investment Company directors and executives recently bought shares in the company, according to regulatory notices released on Wednesday.
The AIM-traded firm said non-executive director Bimajlit Sandhu bought 392,000 shares for £0.59m, and non-executive chairman Nigel Hamqay purchased 100,000 shares for £0.15m.

Its chief executive officer Robert Ware spent £0.22m on 147,500 shares, while property directors Freddie Jones and Christopher Ware bought 15,000 shares and 34,000 shares for £22,500 and £51,000, respectively.

Conygar said all shares were purchased at a price of 150p each, with the notices coming on the same day the company completed the sale of its Selly Oak industrial units to a student accommodation provider for £7.17m.

On the selling side of the ledger, Jardine Matheson confirmed that Honor Weatherall had offloaded 12,100 shares for $55.39 each.

The sale netted Weatherall, daughter of longstanding director Percy, $0.67m.

At 1447 GMT, shares in the Conygar Investment Company were up 1.45% at 157.25p, while those in Jardine Matheson Holdings were flat in London at $62.50.
