Croda appoints new non-exec

Croda International, the specialist chemicals company, has appointed Dr Helena Ganczakowski as a Non-Executive Director with a start date of February 1st.Ganczakowski, who is currently non-executive director of bakery chain Greggs, runs a consulting business working with a range of organisations.Ganczakowski's predecessor, Stanley Musesengwa, will step down after seven years in the post on April 24th following the annual general meeting. Chairman Martin Flower said: "Helena brings with her a wealth of experience in consumer marketing and innovative product development and we are delighted to welcome her to the Croda board."The news came one day after HSBC upgraded shares of the group to an overweight rating.WS
