Craneware FY pre-tax profit soars 40%

Hospital management software supplier Craneware posted a 40% hike in full year pre-tax profit as it increased new product lines.For the year ended 30 June 2009 pre-tax profit increased to $5.9m from $4.2m the same time a year earlier. Revenues for the year rose to $23.0m from $18.7m previously.Craneware said the signing of a "significant value added reseller agreement with McKesson Corporation at the start of this new fiscal year has given us an excellent start to the year." The group added, "This new agreement combined with a growing Craneware sales pipeline and the launch of further product by the end of the current year, gives us confidence that we are on track to continue our history of significant growth in the year ahead."New product lines contributed $10.1m to total contracted sales.Craneware has recommended a final dividend of 2.9p a share, bringing the total for the year to 4.7p up from 3.1p a year earlier.
