Craneware bags 5-year US deal

Hospital management software supplier Craneware said it has signed a five year contract with Intermountain Healthcare. No figures were provided.Salt Lake City based Intermountain, which consists of 23 hospitals, has signed up for Craneware's Chargemaster Toolkit, which is designed to, "capture legitimate reimbursement, increase efficiency and promote compliance through fully automating chargemaster management processes with Online Reference Toolkit." "Craneware's proven solution for automating chargemaster management processes will help us achieve our objectives - empowering us to manage and improve processes related to the revenue cycle," said Intermountain's VP of Revenue Cycle Organization Todd Craghead.Craneware CEO Keith Neilson added, "This significant contract win in a competitive situation is a powerful endorsement of Craneware's products and competitive positioning. Our sales momentum continues as we approach the end of the first half of our financial year." In September the group posted a 40% hike in full year pre-tax profit as it increased new product lines.
