(Sharecast News) - Conygar Investment Company has submitted a detailed application for the next phase of the Island Quarter development in Nottingham, it announced on Friday.

The AIM-traded firm said the application consists of a 23,123 square metre, or 249,000 square foot, bioscience building, including both laboratory and office space.

"We are delighted to submit this application for the next phase of development," said property director Christopher Ware.

"Nottingham is already home to a large number of exciting businesses in the bioscience space and this scheme will be an excellent addition to the mixed-use development we are creating at the Island Quarter."

At 1158 GMT, shares in the Conygar Investment Company were down 0.95% at 130.75p.
