Plastic shopping trolley designer Supercart has won its first order for its new range of trolleys based on the moulds that were purchased from Rehrig International. The order is from a national chain of shops in North America who were previous customers of Rehrig. A subsidiary of Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping has secured a contract to conduct a controlled source electromagnetic (CSEM) survey in the UK sector of the North Sea.The contract, worth more than $1m, represents the first time that the company’s WISE technology has been used commercially. The survey, on behalf of the Nautical Petroleum led group including Canamens Energy and Celtic Oil, is to assist in the appraisal of the Kraken Discovery in northern North Sea Block 9/2b. The appraisal survey will map the lateral extent of the discovery and help distinguish between competing geological hypotheses, which in turn will guide further appraisal drilling. Window film firm Pentagon Protection said its security division, SDS Group, has won a contract worth £0.14m to supply state of the art portable x-ray equipment from a UK government department. Broadband satellite operator Avanti Communications has won a supply contract with Cactuss, a leading provider of IT systems integration services in Kosovo. The contract is worth at least £0.1m in the first two years of its duration.
