IT infrastructure services and solutions provider Computacenter said group revenue for the first half was flat on a reported basis and fell 2 per cent in constant currency after a mixed performance across its UK, German and French businesses.In an update for the six months ended June 30th 2013 it said trading was overall in line with expectations.Services revenue increased by 4% on a reported basis and 2% in constant currency while Supply Chain revenue slipped 2% on a reported basis and by 4% in constant currency.In the UK revenue grew by 2% in the first half, Services revenue increased 5% and Supply Chain revenue was flat. German total revenue fell 1% in constant currency, Services fell 1% and Supply Chain reduced 2%. Meanwhile French revenue declined 12% in constant currency with Services revenue falling 5% and Supply Chain revenue down 13%.Looking ahead Computacenter said following the finalisation of the exceptional provision for its three German loss-making contracts, it will be in a better position to understand the positive impact this is likely to have on expectations for 2013 and 2014.Its UK business continues to perform in line, supported by some improvement within its German business, which is offset by a further deterioration in France."The continued strong performance of our UK business is encouraging for the future, along with the improvement we are starting to see in Germany, both of which are supported by significant new business pipelines," it added.CJ
