IT provider Computacenter has appointed Philip Yea as the senior independent non-executive director and the chairman of its remuneration committee.Yea, who is currently a non-executive director of both Vodafone and Aberdeen Asian Smaller Companies Investment Trust, as well as the chairman of Bwin.party, will begin his new role with immediate effect, the FTSE 250 group said in a statement on Tuesday."I am delighted that Philip is joining Computacenter," said group chairman Greg Lock."He brings with him significant business management experience, and I look forward to him making a significant contribution to the board."Computacenter shares were flat at 719.50p at 10:16 on Tuesday.
