Collagen Solutions CEO to present update at biotech showcase next month

(Sharecast News) - Biomaterials manufacturer Collagen Solutions revealed on Thursday that chief executive Jamal Rushdy will be presenting at next month's Investival Showcase in London.Rushdy will present a company update at Biotech and Money's Investival on 13 November at the Hilton Waldorf and will make both himself and Collagen Solutions' chief financial officer Hilary Spence available for one-to-one meetings.'Biotech and Money' Investival was set up with the intention of bringing investors and companies together and is run in partnership with the Jefferies 2018 London Healthcare Conference, which takes place on 14 and 15 November at the same venue.The showcase features early, growth stage and public life science and health technology companies.In its last trading year, Collagen's revenues declined 11.2% year-on-year to £3.5m, falling short of market expectations and leading the company to warn investors of another potentially "transitional year" in terms of revenue generation."We anticipate that we will have a significant year of growth and change, and it will be a transitional year in terms of new product development and revenue generation," the AIM-listed company said.As of 0820 BST, Collagen Solutions shares had slipped 2.90% to 3.01p.
