(Sharecast News) - CelLBxHealth said on Friday that it had entered into a master services agreement with AstraZeneca, establishing the company as a qualified service provider to the global pharmaceutical group.
The AIM-traded company, formerly known as Angle and which specialises in circulating tumour cell, or CTC, solutions for research, drug development and clinical oncology, said the agreement would allow it to support AstraZeneca's drug discovery and development work through CTC-powered analytics of clinical trial samples.
It said the work would use its Parsortix platform, which is designed to analyse circulating tumour cells.
Chief executive officer Peter Collins said the agreement would give AstraZeneca access to CelLBxHealth's capabilities across its development pipeline.
"We are delighted to enter into this master services agreement which enables AstraZeneca to access our capabilities across their development pipeline," Collins said.
"We look forward to delivering strong and productive outcomes through this framework."
At 1354 BST, shares in CelLBxHealth were up 28.58% at 2.22p.
