Capita extends partnership with Southampton City Council

Capita, the FTSE 100 support service solutions provider, has extended its 10-year strategic partnership with Southampton City Council by a further five years. The extension, which was the decision of the council, will generate additional revenue to Capita of approximately £124m. The partnership will continue with its previously delivered services and introduce new ones to address the council's needs and goals. Andy Parker, Deputy Chief Executive and joint Chief Operating Officer of Capita, said: "The extension of this partnership reflects our strong working relationship and commitment to delivering continued value for the residents of Southampton. As people's lives and ways of communicating are swiftly changing, we need to continually re-design council services to better meet the needs of citizens and businesses.
