BT unveils new non-exec director

(ShareCast News) - Mike Inglis will join BT as a non-executive director, the telecoms giant confirmed on Monday.In a short statement, the FTSE 100 group said Inglis, who is currently a non-executive director and chairman designate of Ilika, an AIM listed materials technology business, will step into his new role on 1 September."I'm delighted to welcome Mike to BT," said group chairman Sir Michael Rake."He has a decade of board experience and brings with him in-depth experience of the technology industry."He will be a great asset for BT and its board."BT shares were down 0.48% to 454.00p at 1152 BST on Monday.
