Baronsmead Chairman reduces interest

The Chairman of Baronsmead VCT, Peter Lawrence, has had his interest in the venture capitalist trust reduced following sales made by two people connected to him. Michael Lawrence traded in 35,470 shares, while Louise Lawrence sold off 46,384 shares, generating a combined £58,526. The shares were sold at 71.50p a piece. The transactions come just a few days after the company reported a 4.5% quarterly increase in its net asset value per share to 80.84p. Total net assets rose from £71.71m to £74.69m.
