(Sharecast News) - Commercial passenger aircraft leasing company Avation has delivered the second in a series of five new ATR 72-600 turboprop aircraft to Braathens Regional Airways, it announced on Thursday, from the manufacturer's facility in Toulouse, France.
The London-listed firm said that, as with its first delivery to Braathens, the second delivery was financed with a 'green loan' provided by Deutsche Bank.

Vigeo Eiris, an institution for environmental, social and governance (ESG) ratings, had expressed an opinion that the project of replacing aging regional jets with new ATR 72-600 aircraft was aligned with the Loan Market Association's 'Green Loan Principles' guidelines for 2018.

"Avation is pleased to complete this delivery of a second aircraft to Braathens," said executive chairman Jeff Chatfield.

"We are also pleased that this aircraft was again financed via our green loan initiative."

At 1012 GMT, shares in Avation were up 0.67^ at 299.99p.
