Satellite operator Avanti Communications has won a contract with Spain-based Novasoft. The contract provides Avanti with an estimated 1m potential customers who it believes would benefit from a faster satellite broadband product. Novasoft's subsidiary, Novasoft WiFi Extremadura, is an ICT services provider in Spain which is working with the regional government of Extremadura in a project which aims to provide subsidised broadband services to customers in rural areas that cannot access terrestrial broadband.
