Avanti Communications secures another multi-million dollar contract

Broadband services group Avanti Communications has secured a multi-million dollar contract for its HYLAS 1 and HYLAS 2 satellites with StarDSL AG, which is expected to deliver a "multi-region rollout". Using Avanti's services the multi-year contract will bring StarDSL AG's service to over twenty countries across Europe and the Middle East.Chief Executive Officer David Williams said: "Avanti's flexible Ka-band technology will support delivery of high-quality satellite broadband packages to StarDSL AG's significant addressable markets."As of 08:52 the share price had risen 2.39% to 250.5p.WS
