Alumasc's Gatic wins £4m in contracts in last three months

(Sharecast News) - Building products and systems company Alumasc announced on Tuesday that its subsidiary Gatic has been awarded a number of contracts in the Middle and Far East in the last three months, totalling more than £4m.
The AIM-traded firm said the contracts were for the supply of access and drainage products for a number of projects, including the third runway at Chek Lap Kok Airport in Hong Kong, the second container terminal at Hamad Port in Qatar, and at Nadi Airport in Fiji.

It said supply had already started, with the contracts expected to be delivered over the next 24 months.

"These are key wins for Alumasc and demonstrate the strength and quality of our products and our ability to supply goods for international infrastructure projects," said chief executive officer Paul Hooper.

At 1051 BST, shares in Alumasc were up 8.17% at 77.88p.
