(Sharecast News) - Hydrogen power generation technology specialist AFC Energy's new chief financial officer stepped into his role on Thursday.

The AIM-traded firm said Peter Dixon-Clarke became its CFO, and a director of the company, on 1 December.

It had announced Dixon-Clarke's appointment as its next finance chief on 29 September.

"Peter takes over the role from Graeme Lewis, who has resigned as a director of AFC Energy, also with effect from 1 December," the board said in its statement.

At 1217 GMT, shares in AFC Energy were up 0.28% at 21.3p.
