Advanced Computer Software Chairman sells 1m shares

Michael Jackson, the Chairman of Advanced Computer Software Group, this week reduced his stake in the company with the sale of one million shares.The company, which provides healthcare and business management software and services, said in a statement that the shares were traded in across three transactions, generating a total of just under £1.1m. On Monday, Jackson disposed of 300,000 shares at 112.152p a piece, then on Tuesday he sold 212,312 at 109.38p along with a further 487,688 at 108.3p. His stake in the company was reduced to 1.42m, equal to 0.3% of the issued share capital. The announcement was made one day after the company announced it had acquired Compass Computer Consultants, a UK higher education software provider, for a total cash consideration of £14.5m.The business will be integrated into Advanced Computer Softwares' Business Solutions division.
