Admiral Group appoints Manning Rountree

Car insurer Admiral group has appointed Manning Rountree as a non-executive director, pending regulatory approval. The former McKinsey & Company consultant's most recent position was at publicly listed White Mountains Insurance Group. Rountree will join the board's risk committee.Admiral chairman Alastair Lyons said Rountree's experience in the insurance sector will help Admiral in its development of auto insurance and price comparison businesses in the United States."We already much value his input as a member of the Board of compare.com, our US price comparison business in which White Mountains has an investment."
