(Sharecast News) - Risk management group Acuity RM revealed on Tuesday that it had won a new three-year contract with an unnamed telco.

Acuity RM said the contract was worth £85,000 and was for the use of its STREAM software platform.

The new client, a multi-national telecoms business, will use the software to manage its "cyber security and other enterprise risks".

The AIM-listed firm told investors the award was expected to lead to further contracts with the mystery customer.

Acuity RM added that further opportunities have been and are being identified within this and other existing private and public sector clients for further rollouts of STREAM.

Chief executive Angus Forrest said: "Acuity often wins a small first order with a new customer which after a few months results in new business opportunities and we are confident that this will be the case in this instance."

As of 0945 BST, Acuity shares were down 3.43% at 5.07p.
