Accesso Technology extends Dreamworld deal

(ShareCast News) - Queuing and ticketing technology company Accesso Technology has secured a five-year extension on its current deal with Australian theme park Dreamworld.The site, which includes 50 rides and wildlife attractions, was the first Australian theme park to adopt the group's LoQueue technology, which is known as Q4U at Dreamworld.The technology allows customers to wait for their turn without having to physically queue, as they do so via the smartphone-powered QsmartSM and the QbotSM virtual queuing device."Dreamworld was the first theme park in Australia to deploy Accesso LoQueue solutions and this contract extension is another important vote of confidence in the value and capability of our technology," said group chief executive Tom Burnet.Late in July, the AIM-listed group, which signed an exclusive deal with attractions giant Merlin Entertainments, said it expected earnings to improve over the next two years on the back of new contracts.Accesso shares were up 1.79% to 738.00p at 1243 BST on Thursday.
