21st Century steams on UK train deal

AIM-listed CCTV specialist 21st Century won a contract to supply its advanced systems for one of the UK's large rail franchises.The contract has an initial value of £1.9m, with 21st Century deploying its CCTV system across the client's complete fleet of trains and providing ongoing maintenance support for three years. The company, which warned in August of a lower pipeline of new deals and has changed Chief Executive Officers since, said the majority of the income from the project will accrue in 2014. Shares in C21 were up 9.3% to 7.38p at 13:26 on Thursday. OH
