(ShareCast News) - Property website Zoopla Property Group has changed its name to ZPG to reflect the "evolution and diversity of the business". The FTSe 250 company announced on Friday that the name change was to reflect the changes in the business and its "evolution and diversity" as it owns many home-related platforms including property websites Zoopla and PrimeLocation, uSwitch, a price comparison website and technology firm Property Software Group.The company's ticker on the London Stock Exchange will change to ZPG on Monday.On Tuesday, ZPG announced it is to buy Hometrack, a property data company, for up to £120m. The company will pay £108m when the deal completes and two payments of £6m on its first and second anniversary of the acquisition.
