WPP's data investment management business Kantar has agreed to buy Fisheye Analytics, a media monitoring and analytics services business in Singapore. Fisheye will become part of Kantar Media and works with some of the biggest sports governing bodies, international organisations and governments from Europe to Asia.For the year to end of October, Fisheye's unaudited revenues came to Singapore dollars (SGD) 782,871 with gross assets of SGD 332,162.WPP said the acquisition is part of the advertising giant's goal of developing its networks in fast growth markets and further strengthening its data investment management business.Collectively, WPP companies in Singapore generate revenues of around $350m and employ 2,000 people.In the Asia Pacific region, WPP companies generate revenues of $5bn and employ more than 47,000 people. WPP recently raised its targets from 35-40% for each of its fast-growth markets and new media to at least 40-45%, over the next five years.Shares rose 1.46% to 1,319p at 16:14 on Monday.RD
