Advertising and public relations company WPP has added Quirk, a digital marketing agency, to its long list of subsidiaries. Quirk, which employs 200 people, is the largest agency of its kind in Africa. Its clients include Distell, Capitec Bank, Woolworths, Caltex and Tyco.In the 12 months ended February 28th, Quirk generated revenue of around 140m rand and had gross assets of 68m South African rand at the year-end. WPP, which is led by Martin Sorrell, pictured, said: "Quirk has built a strong reputation for helping clients adapt and win in an ever-changing digitally-enabled world.
