Communications services giant WPP has acquired mobile media agency and mobile technology company aMVG (Aerodon) to strengthen its capabilities in digital media.The Turkey-based media group, which was founded in 2002, provides services such as mobile marketing campaigns, loyalty platforms and applications development.In 2013 the firm generated unaudited revenues of TRY8.9m with gross assets of approximately TRY8.4m as at the same date. This new investment by WPP is expected to help develop its operations in fast growing markets, Turkey is one of the WPP's so-called 'Next 11' growth economies where its companies currently generate annual revenues of over $900m.WPP announced yesterday that it had acquired Canadian creative digital marketing agency, Twist Image Multimedia.
