Wolf Minerals has taken a key step forward in its bid to develop a tungsten and tin mine in south-west England.Wolf said it had secured a class A mining waste facility permit from the UK's Environment Agency for its Hemerdon project in Devon.The permit - the first to have been issued in the UK - is the final major consent needed to develop and build the project.Wolf's Managing Director Russell Clark said: "This is a terrific achievement in the development of the Hemerdon tungsten and tin project as the Mining Waste Facility Environmental Permit is a key pre-requisite."Hemerdon will be the first significant mine to be built in the UK in over 45 years and the agencies have worked tirelessly with us to ensure we will have a waste facility permit that provides protection for the broader environment and community."Shares rose 1.75p to 21.75p at 15:53 in London.PW
