Westminster Group is to build a high security perimeter 'intruder detection system (PID)' to protect the Nigerian Communication Satellite Ltd's main operating base station in Nigeria. The UK security and fire alarm firm will get about $210,000 (£127,000) for installing a high security detection system around the 1.2km site to detect any attempt to scale the wall of the high profile base.It's already started work on the job which is expected to finish during the fourth quarter "Nigeria is a country where we see significant growth potential so it is a significant step forward to be actively installing solutions and reinforcing our in-country credentials," said Westminster chief Peter Fowler.
