Walker Crips Private Client Director Sunderland To Retire

LONDON (Dow Jones)--Walker Crips Group PLC (WCW.LN) Friday announces that Michael Sunderland, Private Client Director, is to retire from the Board and the Company with effect from Feb. 28, 2011. MAIN FACTS: -Sunderland, 64, joined the Company in 1972 and has held a number of senior executive positions since that time, including Chief Executive from 1996 to 2006. -Following Sunderland's retirement Chris Kitchenham, a director of the Company's Walker Crips Stockbrokers subsidiary, will head up the Private Client department. -Shares at 0919 GMT unchanged at 46.5 pence.
