Walker Crips Funds Under Management Rise 2.4% In 1Q To GBP645M

LONDON (Dow Jones)--Financial services group Walker Crips Group PLC (WCW.LN) Friday said funds under management rose 2.4% in its first quarter as trading activity continued to improve despite a background of uncertainty and volatility. In an update on trading for the three months to June 30, Walker Crips said its funds under management increased to GBP645 million from GBP630 million on March 31. The firm said revenue over the quarter increased 14% to GBP4.52 million from GBP3.96 million a year earlier, which Walker Crips said reflected more favorable trading conditions.
