Vodafone and Mediaset ink agreement to offer pay-TV content in Italy

British mobile giant Vodafone on Thursday signed a deal with Mediaset to offer pay-tv content in Italy.Both companies will offer subscribers a package of mobile and pay-TV services, including live Italian and European football, sports coverage on Eurosport, more than 1,000 episode of TV series per week, documentaries and Disney channel programmes at a monthly fee of €39.Mediaset content will be carried through Vodafone's 4G network, which covers 88% of Italy's population.
