Ubisense scores contract with unnamed blue chip utility group

AIM-listed Ubisense has landed a contract worth $1.5m with an unnamed US power utilities group for its location-data application myWorld.The application will provide geospatial data to the company's employees. The contract will provide the unnamed blue chip utility firm visibility across their organisation and a complete view of their assets in one application, which it said will boost productivity.Chief Executive Officer Richard Green said: "This blue chip power utility has selected Ubisense myWorld to enhance visibility across their organisation, enabling the business to work more efficiently."As of 08:40 the share price had risen 1.14% to 174p.WS
